Green Plastic Mesh Handbag with Floral Tufts (bolso / “jaba”), green

Object/Artifact

A handbag/tote made of fine green plastic cord (synthetic filament) worked into a regular open mesh. The body is a rounded, U-shaped pouch tapering to a rounded base, with denser solid bands worked at the top edge and across the lower body, and a pair of integral strap handles forming a loop at the top. A round plastic-covered disc button at the top-center front serves as the closure. The front is decorated with roughly nine small floral tufts — yellow with pink/mauve centers — pulled through the mesh in three staggered rows. No maker's mark, label, or printed text is present.
