Commemorative keychain fob, 1st Psychology Conference of the Havana Psychiatric Hospital
Object/Artifact
A small rectangular metal keychain pendant on a short curb-link chain. The face is enameled yellow with a central dark-blue Greek letter psi (Ψ), the conventional symbol of psychology, rendered as a stylized trident-like form. Below the symbol, raised lettering reads "1ra. JORNADA DE PSICOLOGÍA DEL HOSPITAL PSIQUIÁTRICO DE LA HABANA" ("1st Psychology Conference of the Havana Psychiatric Hospital"). The plaque is set in a metal frame with an integral loop at the top connecting to the chain. The enamel/paint is extensively chipped and worn, exposing the metal beneath.

Objects like this were typically produced as inexpensive souvenirs or delegate keepsakes for a professional meeting, which fits both its form (a keychain rather than a struck award medal) and its modest materials.
