Woman's pajama/sleep shorts in lightweight puckered (seersucker-type) cotton printed with an allover small-scale floral in pink, orange/gold, and white. High-waisted, full-cut shorts with an elasticized/gathered waistband and a curved, fuller seat; loose legs. Hand/home-sewn construction. The fabric is lightly toned and soft with wear; no maker's label.

These pajama shorts were sewn by the donor from fabric purchased at the state store using the ration card (la libreta de abastecimiento). They directly document Cuba's textile-rationing econom. Home sewing of everyday garments was common in Cuba.
