A small rectangular compact with rounded corners, in dark reddish-brown high-polished plastic (with a leather-like appearance). The hinged lid is inset with an applied gold-colored interlaced "ALi" device; the front edge has a twin-tab clasp. The surface shows fine scratching, wear, and a rich patina.
