Ring with radiating sunburst setting and honey-colored cabochon
Jewelry
An artisan/costume ring whose face is a flat openwork radiating form of roughly eight tapering arms, each flaring and notched at the tip (a sunburst or cog-like motif), centered on a domed translucent honey/amber cabochon held in a beaded (granulated) bezel collar. Plain rounded shank. The front face reads warm golden; the shank and setting back are white metal showing wear and tarnish. The bezel is open-backed, exposing the underside of the stone.

Style: the radiating sunburst/cog face with a central cabochon and granulated bezel is a common idiom in mid-20th-century artisan and costume jewelry; without marks, neither maker nor origin can be attributed, and the piece could be domestic Cuban bisutería or an import.
