Leather wristwatch strap
Object/Artifact
A wristwatch strap of mid-brown leather, photographed in two views. The leather has a fine grained surface, more pronounced in the second view where the texture reads as a regular linear graining. One end tapers to a rounded tip pierced by a row of adjustment holes; the opposite end carries a gold-coloured (brass) buckle with a pin, and a leather keeper loop is present along the band. The strap is shown partly curled and folded back on itself, indicating a supple but worn material. The surface bears scuffing, scattered dark spots and discolouration, surface cracking and creasing at the fold points, and slight darkening from handling oils. The buckle shows wear to its plating with base metal exposed at the high points.

The unmarked, hand-finished character of this strap is consistent with either inexpensive imported stock or local production/repair, both common in the Cuban context.
