Beaded necklace of graduated green and white round beads with gold-tone links
Jewelry
A single-strand necklace of opaque round beads in apple/olive green and white, arranged in graduated size — small beads at the back rising to large statement beads at the front centre — and alternating green/white along the strand. Each bead is individually mounted on a gold-tone metal eye-pin and joined to its neighbor by wire links, so the beadwork forms a linked chain rather than a continuous threaded strand. The back of the necklace is completed with a fine gold-tone curb chain and a decorative rectangular box-type clasp. The bold two-color scheme and graduated round beads give the piece a "mod" mid-century fashion character. The beads are glossy and appear sound; the gold-tone findings show light wear.

Date Circa 1960s (tentative, on style). Undetermined pending provenance. Place of Origin Manufacture: undetermined (the necklace could have been imported). Place of retail/acquisition: Le Trianon (Joyería Trianón), Havana, Cuba — per family information.
