"Slava Sport" pulsometer quartz wristwatch (head only)

Object/Artifact

Round chrome-plated watch head, no strap or bracelet. Cream/off-white dial signed SLAVA over QUARTZ, with painted Arabic 1–12 hour numerals and a segmented outer minute track. Two concentric red arcs read ATTENTION and 30 BEAT COUNT; an inner pulsometer scale graduated roughly 40–130 allows a heart-rate reading by counting 30 pulse beats against the sweep seconds hand. A running-athlete pictogram in a rounded square sits at the 6–7 position. Black hour and minute hands with a red central sweep seconds hand. Knurled crown at 3. Plastic (acrylic) crystal; brushed-metal caseback.

Maker: Second Moscow Watch Factory (Slava / Слава; "2 MChZ"), Moscow. The factory took the "Slava" name in 1964 and produced exclusively civilian watches; the quartz "Sport"/pulsometer with running pictogram is a documented model of theirs. Date: Circa mid-to-late 1980s. The quartz movement and this specific pulsometer "Sport" model are documented to the 1980s (associated quartz caliber 3056/3056A, mid-1980s).

Dial — SLAVA / QUARTZ / ATTENTION / 30 BEAT COUNT / pulsometer numerals / MADE IN USSR (split around the 6) / running-athlete pictogram. Caseback — stamped 521 (sole caseback mark; no maker name, jewel count, or caliber visible). The meaning of "521" is unconfirmed — likely a case-model or batch reference (tentative).

Materials: Chrome-plated base-metal case with steel caseback; plastic (acrylic) crystal; painted metal dial. Movement (battery quartz) not examined. Technique: Mass-produced; stamped and machined case, lithographed/printed dial.
