Pocket flashlight (torch) — marbled orange plastic with cream head
Object/Artifact
Hand-held flashlight with a cylindrical barrel molded in marbled orange plastic, set into a flared rectangular head/reflector housing finished in cream/ivory plastic. A white plastic slide on/off switch is mounted on the barrel. The flat battery end cap is impressed "СДЕЛАНО В СССР" and pierced at center, through which a braided cord wrist loop is threaded and knotted on the inside. Same flat rectangular-reflector form as the collection's blue-and-pink Soviet torch.
