Round coaster printed in magenta/cerise on cream. A central cream roundel holds a line-drawn chef (tall toque, neckerchief, double-breasted jacket). Concentric magenta rings carry the legend around the rim: "ENCUENTRO NACIONAL DE TECNICAS GASTRONOMICAS · TRABAJANDO MAS Y MEJOR · SALUDAMOS ·."

A commemorative coaster for a national Encuentro de Técnicas Gastronómicas — the Cuban food-service sector's professional meeting/competition in cooking, cantina (bartending), and service, run in connection with the Asociación/Federación Culinaria de Cuba and the Ministry of Internal Trade (MINCIN), in which provincial winners advance to the national level. The labor slogan "Trabajando más y mejor" ("working more and better") and "Saludamos" ("we greet [you]"), together with the chef mascot, mark it as an event greeting/souvenir in the idiom of Cuban socialist-era work mobilization.
