Type: the egg tangram, popularly "Columbus's Egg" (Polish Jajko Kolumba), is a dissection puzzle related to the Chinese tangram; its pieces reassemble into the egg or into silhouette figures. This example is the standard Polish "Polimer" version. A tangram is a traditional Chinese puzzle composed of seven flat geometric pieces or tans, which are arranged to form many kinds of figures.
The "Made in Poland" marking indicates it was also an export line — consistent with its presence in the collection as a Polish socialist-bloc import.
