A reader recalls "Kombey el Samurai" among the features of the magazine Cómicos and laments that it disappeared with the Special Period. Kombey el Samurai is a Cuban historieta character. In the 1960s ¡Aventuras! line, Kombey was drawn by Luis Lorenzo and often scripted by Juan Padrón. The character was revived in Cómicos in the 1980s.
