A cylindrical hair roller made by hand from green plastic mesh/netting wound into a roll around a wire core. The open-weave plastic net forms the body, its grid visible all over; the winding gives a slightly ridged/undulating surface, and the ends are open. A handmade, improvised curler rather than a manufactured one. No maker's mark, brand, or lettering is present.
