"Fantasía" iridescent lipstick (creyón labial iridiscente Fantasía", shade "Ilusión" (brown)

Swivel-type lipstick with a glossy black molded-plastic barrel and base collar, extended to show a frosted/iridescent nude-to-tan (warm beige-brown) bullet, used and irregularly worn with a fractured facet near the tip. The base collar fitted with a colorless push-on over-cap printed in gilt with an ornamental scheme (paired quatrefoil florets, a central vertical ornament, and beaded border bands). The flat black base carries a circular printed paper label: CREYON LABIAL IRIDISCENTE / FANTASIA / ILUSION / HECHO EN CUBA, above a small printed maker's monogram.

"Creyón labial" is the Cuban term for lipstick. Fantasía was a flagship makeup line of Cuba's nationalized perfumery-cosmetics industry; the creyón labial iridiscente Fantasía was offered in 11 shades, as documented in Cuba Material's catalog of state-produced cosmetics (companion lines Prisma, Realce, Alondra, Cirene). "Ilusión" is one of those iridescent shades. The casing here — black barrel with a gilt-printed clear over-cap — differs from the white/gold banded Rojo Claro tube in the previous record, indicating the Fantasía line used more than one packaging design.

Manufacturer: Cuban state perfumery-cosmetics industry, very likely the Empresa de Perfumería y Jabonería Suchel (successor to the Empresa Consolidada de Jabonería y Perfumería, founded 1961) — tentative as to the specific enterprise; the label names only the brand and "Hecho en Cuba." Fantasía brand and "Ilusión" shade confirmed by the base label. Designer not identified. Date: circa 1970s–1980s; tentative.
