Description“Ali” powder compact with gold monogram. Origin unknown. A small rectangular powder compact in moulded tortoiseshell-effect plastic with rounded corners and a press-stud hinge closure. The lid bears the golden brand mark “Ali.” The interior houses a rectangular mirror set into the lid and a gridded powder tray below, now empty. The piece shows significant surface scratching and age patina consistent with long personal use.
