stirrers
Object/Artifact
Three plastic cocktail stirrers in graduated shades of green — pale lime, mint, and deep forest — each embossed Cuban Rums along the shaft and topped with a molded lime slice and mint leaf: the ingredients of a mojito rendered in miniature. The opposite end of each shaft terminates in a small fork tip, useful for spearing garnishes.
A second series to the previously documented Havana Club stirrers, this set leans into the cocktail imagery more explicitly — the lime and mint are an unmistakable reference to the mojito, Cuba’s most internationally recognized drink. Where the fish-topped set evoked a tropical resort aesthetic, these are more directly tied to the brand’s export identity and the global marketing of Cuban rum.
Together the two sets suggest a sustained promotional effort across different bar contexts and time periods, both using plastic and color as their primary design language.
