Object/Artifact

A standard Compact Cassette head-cleaning cassette ("čisticí kazeta") in a clear plastic Norelco-style case. The cassette shell is black with a printed label: a red band reading "Čisticí kazeta," a white band with "HC-1 / COMPACT CASSETTE," fine horizontal line graphics with a tape window and a "100 · 50 · 0" counter scale, and the "emgeton" brand. The reverse of the shell warns that that side is not for use and carries a usage-count grid ("Počet použití:" numbered to ~20). The clear case is printed across the top with the manufacturer line and a product/price line; an outer paper J-card with matching "emgeton / HC-1 / Čisticí kazeta" graphics is slipped under the case lid.

Small Soviet pocket transistor radio with its black leatherette carrying case and wrist strap. The radio has a cream/ivory plastic cabinet with a gold horizontally-ribbed speaker grille and a black dial face printed with the "RRR" logo, MW and SW bands (scales "×100 KC" and "MC"; SW meter bands 75/49/41/31/25), "ALL TRANSISTOR," the model name "Orbita 2," and a "TUNE" thumbwheel at the side; a sliding pointer travels behind the dial window. The back bears an embossed "SW / MW" slide switch, "FINE TUN[ing]" and antenna arrows, an "EARPHONE" jack at upper right, a sliding battery-compartment door, one screw, and "MADE IN USSR" embossed at lower left. The case is black leatherette with a chrome trim strip, a punched speaker grille, a wrist strap, a snap stud, and a rear window exposing the tuning control; a strip of blue adhesive tape repairs the lower back. All markings are in Latin script — an export model.

A small mechanical wind-up alarm clock in an angular (trapezoidal) red molded-plastic case on a stepped foot. The cream/aged dial has stylized Arabic numerals (12, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10) with dash-and-dot minute markers, slim hands, and printed marks; behind a domed crystal. The reverse is a cream plastic movement back with winding/setting arbors, an embossed alarm-bell icon, a "+/−" fast-slow regulator, and a fold-out wire stand.

A rectangular desk clock in a polished wooden case on two dark feet, behind a glass front in a nickel-plated brass bezel. The cream plastic panel carries, at left, a clock dial with Roman numerals, black hands, the cursive maker's name, and "Сделано в СССР"; at right, a vertical thermometer (0–40 °C, doubled scale) above a curved weather-indicator scale reading "ПАСМУРНО / ПЕРЕМЕННО / СОЛНЕЧНО" (overcast / variable / sunny). The reverse is a black-painted metal back plate (now heavily rusted) with the winding arbor and a setting lever.

Soviet adjustable indoor ("rabbit-ear") television antenna. A low cream/ivory plastic base supports two chrome-plated telescoping metal rods set in black plastic pivot blocks, allowing each rod to be extended and angled. The top of the base carries two black sliding controls (the tuning/adjustment function) and the molded brand name; the long side is embossed "Саяны." A two-conductor lead-in cable exits the base. The model designation, descriptive text, year, and a manufacturer's logo are molded into the grey underside.

Wedge-form desktop telephone in teal/turquoise molded plastic, with a cradled handset across the top and a rotary dial set into the sloped front. The dial has a clear plastic finger wheel over a white number ring (1–0) with a metal finger-stop; a small rectangular window sits below the dial. A cream/ivory coiled handset cord is attached. The underside is a dark phenolic baseplate with ventilation slots, four rubber feet, screws, a manufacturer emblem, molded Soviet legends, and a blue ink quality-control stamp.

Portable mono Compact Cassette recorder in an upright (portrait) cabinet of off-white/cream plastic with a black control panel and a perforated-metal speaker grille over the upper front. The face carries the "SANYO" logo, a cassette well behind a hinged window embossed "AUTOMATIC LEVEL RECORDING" / "AUTOMATIC SHUT-OFF SYSTEM," and a red RECORD button with an EJECT button on a silver lower fascia. One long side has a transport slider lever marked "PUSH REW · STOP · PLAY·REC · PUSH F.FWD"; the other side has "DC.6V" and "AC INPUT" jacks. The top end carries MIC and EAR jacks and a VOLUME (MAX–MIN) thumb wheel. The recorder rests in a black vinyl carrying case with snap flaps and a carry strap; the back bears the Sanyo specification label.

A small round metal-housed telephone handset capsule. The front is a shallow domed metal housing with a peripheral ring of oval punched sound apertures around a raised central boss embossed "TESLA" with the company logo, encircled by embossed lettering reading "4FE 560 01," "20," and "AU 1." The back is a domed metal cover with three spot-weld dimples and a central recessed terminal (concentric rings around a central contact post) with rust/corrosion at the center, plus light green discoloration; a handwritten purple-ink notation "K4 / V9" appears at the edge. The single central terminal and perforated sound face are consistent with a telephone receiver (earpiece) insert.

Portable 8-band transistor radio. Rectangular case with carry handle, telescoping antenna, and a large horizontal dial covering LW, MW, and shortwave bands (60 m–13 m) over a perforated metal speaker grille; tuning and volume knobs at lower right; "10 TRANSISTOR / VEF 204" on the dial face. Affixed to the upper-left front corner, fastened with small screws, is a laminated devotional image of the Sacred Heart of Jesus ("Sagrado Corazón de Jesús") — a later, personal addition. The molded plastic back panel carries the model/spec legend and a battery diagram; a loose lead protrudes at the rear.
